Day 19: To Seattle

8/24/22

-5am wake up after The Goonies slumber party / movie night

-Departed Lacey @ 6:30am

-Sibling sweep with Noelle

-Coffee shack coffee w/ protein puck

-Casey’s flat: Tube swap solved the problem

-Big hill decent into foggy cow field w/ sunflowers

-Tacoma: Fancy multi-million $ houses followed by homeless encampments near rescue mission down the street

-Interurban Path: hot & sunny

-Skate Park laps

-Accurate cue sheet but unlabeled roads

-Lunch spot card game

-Danny’s flat: Patched in no time

-Huge bridge into Seattle with incredible view of downtown & 2 stadiums

-Beacon Hill, Boston, Mass (road names & also where Noelle & I will soon be living)

-Finished the 82 mile ride right at 4pm

-Host: Repurposed church, beautiful inside

-Walked to Noelle’s friends, shower, rooftop views of Space Needle & Mt. Rainier

-Tesla ride to host for dinner

-Olympic mountains sunset on the beach with freight trains passing by

-The Little Red Hen karaoke night with several iconic B&B collaborations
